Charles R. Bluhm's Obituary
Charles R. Bluhm passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 21, 2021.
Born in Elizabeth, NJ to Richard W. and Hilda E. Bluhm, Charlie was 71 years old.
He was a resident of Cinnaminson since 1989.
Beloved husband of 39 years to Constance M. Bluhm (nee Rogers).
Loving father of Elizabeth L. Bluhm and Joanna S. Bluhm.
Brother of Warren R. (Carol Townsend) Bluhm and Bruce A. Bluhm.
Also surviving are cousins, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
Charlie received his bachelor's degree from the University of North Dakota. He worked for the State of New Jersey, and, after 32 years, retired as a Systems Programmer I.
He was a railroad fan and a music lover. He enjoyed reading, photography, computers, old radio and TV dramas, working on the family cars, and making pizza on Friday nights (this became the traditional “Pizza Night at the Bluhm House”). He had an extensive record collection and enjoyed refurbishing old radios and TVs. He also enjoyed family summer vacations on Lake Champlain.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, October 8, 2021 from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North.
His Memorial Service will follow at 11 A.M..
Masks are required.
