Hey Charlie,
I know you're able to hear me now. I'm deeply saddened that you're not here with us any longer. However i know you'd want us to be happy we knew you, not sad we lost you. So therefore I'm going to exploit a few reasons I'm happy for meeting and knowing such a great man. First off, you have taught me a few life lessons that i still follow to this day. I think back and remember the m words the were spoken out of your smiling mouth. Saying "don't sweat the little things man" patting me on my shoulder. Second you barely knew me and put your neck out on the line for me. Extremely brave and noble of an intelligent man. But most of all, saving the best for last here. I'm thankful because of you when you were married to Diane my mom met an amazing man. Your brother Mike. I've never seen my mom as happy as she is today. And because of that my life has changed as well. Not only does my mom have Mike I her life. But i do as well. He's a great mentor, friend, advisor, and most of all father figure. So thinking back 7-8 years ago... If it weren't for you introducing mike and my mom, i wouldn't be the person i am today. You've impacted my life in a great way. And Ill forever thank you for bringing our families together. You'll be missed uncle Charlie. I hope you have that same smile you always wore when you were giving me advice. RIP "Unc"
