Charles A Lownsbury's Obituary
Charles A. Lownsbury (1914-2014) passed away peacefully at the Veterans Memorial Home in Vineland, NJ. Born and raised in Maple Shade, NJ and resided in Pennsauken, NJ. Beloved husband of the late Georgeanna Lownsbury (nee Shemeld). Charlie attended Moorestown High School, served in WWII in North Africa and Italy in the US Army. He worked and retired from RCA of Moorestown. Charlie was an amateur ham radio operator (call letter W2QKA). He loved his sofa and TV along with casual chit-chat. He will be sadly missed by his son Charlie and his granddaughter Kathleen and all that knew him.
Friends and relatives are invited to Charlie’s Life Celebration service at Lakeview Memorial Park, 1300 Route 130 in Cinnaminson on Tuesday October 7 at 11am.
