Charles "Skip" Muraresku's Obituary
Charles “Skip” N. Muraresku passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at his residence in Cinnaminson with his family by his side. Born in Philadelphia to Charles and Dorothy Muraresku, Skip was 79 years old. He was a resident of Cinnaminson since 2002.
Beloved husband of 23 years to Elaine (Nee LaGuardia). Loving father of Sandra Daniels, Charles N. (Karen) Muraresku, Nicole (Christian) Carroll, Maureen Muraresku, Dana Muraresku, and the late Christopher Muraresku. Stepfather to Joseph (Karri) Byrne, John (Jaime) Byrne, Timothy (Lorree) Byrne and Thomas (Jenn) Byrne. Brother of Eileen Hartmann, Donna Muraresku, the late Dorothy McKee and the late Raymond Muraresku. Also surviving are his 14 grandchildren, Tyler, Antonio, Taylor, Christian, Samantha, Ava, Kemma, Timmy, Madelyn, Hayden, Jack, Tommy, Grace, and Joey.
Skip proudly served his country in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was the owner of Glace Brothers on 5400 N. Mascher Street in Philadelphia.
Some of Skip’s greatest joys were spending time with his family, working with his hands and listening to music. He was very passionate about his lawn, heated dinner plates, and a good butter cake. He also enjoyed waverunners, dirt bikes, lighthouses, watching the Phillies, was a car and Christmas decoration enthusiast and performed all his own stunts. Skip will be remembered as a perfectionist, an amazing storyteller and his ability to make people laugh.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday, August 10th from 6-9 p.m. at Givnish of Cinnaminson 1200 Route 130 North.
Family and friends are invited to attend Skip’s Funeral Mass 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 11th at the Sacred Heart Church 103 4th Street Riverton, NJ.
Military Honors will follow the Mass.
