Charles Aloysius Sheerin Jr's Obituary
Charles Aloysius Sheerin Jr., 88, Lexington, passed away Friday, November 24, 2017 at the Hospice Care Center in Lexington. Born June 21, 1929 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Charles and Catherine Schuren Sheerin, he was an office machinery salesman, parishioner of Cathedral of Christ the King, Knights of Columbus and a United States Korean War Army Veteran. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Francis X. Sheerin and John Sheerin.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, JoAnn Samois Sheerin; a daughter, Christina (Jason) Bryant, Lexington, KY; a brother, James Sheerin, Cinnaminson, NJ; a granddaughter, Joanna Eileen Bryant, Lexington, KY and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. Monday with rosary at 7:30 P.M. at Milward – Man O’ War in Lexington, KY. Visitations also scheduled from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Thursday and 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. Friday at Givnish Funeral Home of Cinnaminson, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 A.M. Friday at St. Charles Borromeo in Cinnaminson, NJ. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill, NJ following the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Knights of Columbus Charities, Inc., PO Box 382154, Pittsburgh, PA 15251-8154 or Sisters of the Holy Child Jesus, Sharon Hill, PA.
