Charles Richard Stockton's Obituary
Charles Richard Stockton passed away peacefully at his Willingboro, NJ residence on October 30, 2022 with his family by his side. Loving husband to Mary Stockton (nee Miller) for 54 years. Dear father to Richard Stockton, the late Glen Stockton (Rebecca), Lara Foglio (the late Richard). Grandfather to Adam, Mercedes Bond, Charles, Jessica and Nicholas. Brother to Mary Pelcz and the late Elwood Stockton.
Charles joined the US Army in 1961 and served for two years. After his years in the Army, Charlie received numerous degrees in the education field and ultimately receiving his EDS in special education. Charlie’s passion in life was helping and teaching children all over NJ. Mary and Charlie spent many years fostering babies for adoption. Charlie and Mary also loved to travel. Over the years they have been on 84 cruises together. Most of all, he will be remembered for his Catholic faith and the love he had for his family.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Thursday November 3rd At Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and again the next morning, Friday November 4th at Corpus Christi Church in Willingboro from 9:30- 10:30am. His funeral mass will follow at 10:30am. Burial will take place at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Burlington, NJ.
