Cheryl Lynn Chesney's Obituary
Cheryl Lynn Chesney (nee Vandegrift), of Moorestown, passed away on November 3, 2023. Born in Bristol Borough, PA to the late Edgar and Dorothea (nee Beople) Vandegrift, she was 61 years old.
Cheryl was the beloved wife of Kevin Chesney for 30 years; loving mother of Colleen Markwood (Jonathon), Dylan Chesney, and Skye Chesney; cherished grandmom to William, Joshua, and Chloe Markwood; dear sister of Kim Chieffo (Lenny), Heather Rosario, and the late Vicki Knapp (Gary). Cheryl is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
Cheryl worked for ACME for 20 years, and also spent 5 years working for Pillsbury Corporation during that time. Following that she stayed home to raise her children. Cheryl loved being a mom and especially cherished being a grandmom. She loved all animals, especially horses and her dog Ginny. Cheryl enjoyed crafts, Stephen King books, watching football with her husband, and going to the beach.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North, on Wednesday November 8th from 4 pm to 6 pm. A memorial service will begin at 6 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in memory of Cheryl to be made to the American Heart Assocation, www.heart.org.
