Clara Virginia Luzier's Obituary
Clara Virginia Luzier (nee Morris), lovingly known as “Ginny” passed away peacefully on July 1, 2025, at her home in Cherry Hill with her daughter & family. She was born in Camden, NJ to Robert & Margaret Morris although raised by her grandmother Clara Virgina Clinger once her mother deceased, Ginny was 91 years old. Ginny’s grandfather, Robert Hugh Morris, Sr, was a well known minister at First Presbyterian Church, in Haddonfield, NJ.
Ginny earned her Licensed Practical Nurse certification from Salem College and started her career at Salem County Hospital. She was a proud and nurturing woman whose life revolved around her family. She had a deep passion for genealogy and worked diligently to trace her family’s ancestry. She was exceptionally talented in the arts and crafts, especially sewing, crochet, needlepoint and painting. Her creativity was matched by her warmth and generosity and she cherished the lifelong friendships she built over the years. She had a love for the Philadelphia Phillies and never missed watching a game!
Ginny was predeceased by her daughter, Deborah Schoen (Michael).
She is survived by her loving children: Donna Lobach (Kurt), Michael Applegate (Maureen), Richard Applegate (Jodi) and Barbara Heath (David) and her brother: Robert Hugh Morris III (Joanne). Proud grandmother of Doug Schoen (Tara), Laura Schoen (Vinny), Jason Pedersen (Diana), Paul Pedersen III (Angela), Jennifer Harrington (Jason), Michele Divosevic (Rick), Robert Applegate, Samantha Applegate, Ashley Applegate, Jacklyn Applegate, Jessica Heath, and David Heath.
Proud great-grandmother of Kyle Evers, Nolan Evers, Jason Pedersen Jr., Joelle Pedersen, Paul Pedersen IV (Kaitlyn), Jacob Pedersen (Alaina), Allisyn Pedersen, Elizabeth Harrington, Michael Harrington, Zachary Harrington, and Hunter Jermyn. Ginny was also joyfully anticipating the arrival of her first great-great-grandchild. Also survived by her dear lifelong friend of Carolyn Collier.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, July 7th from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Givnish of Maple Shade, 600 East Main Street. Ginny’s funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Locustwood Memorial Park in Cherry Hill, NJ.
