Clare M Clewley's Obituary
Clare M. Clewley, 95, passed away peacefully at her residence at Brandywine Living at Voorhees on August 1, 2023. Born on March 26, 1928 to the late Anthony J. Waldron Jr and Clara Waldron (nee Kengot). Devoted wife to the late James J. Clewley. Dear mother to James A. Clewley Sr. (Terry), the late Patricia Anne Clewley and the late Thomas J. Clewley. Nan to James A. Clewley Jr. (Maureen) and Kristina Anne Hall (Jeffrey R. Sr.). Great grandmom to Evelyn Theresa Clewley, James A. Clewley III, Paige Elizabeth Hall and Jeffrey R.Hall Jr. Sister to the late Dorothy Young. Clare will be missed by many other family members and friends.
Clare was a resident of Brandywine Living at Voorhees for the past 8 and a half years. While living there she made many great friends and memories. She was always looking forward to playing Black Jack and attending their daily happy hour. She enjoyed the community in which she resided and they were a second family to her. Clare also enjoyed visiting the casinos in Atlantic City, watching the Phillies and enjoying her vanilla and chocolate milkshakes from Mr. Softee. Most of all, she will be remembered for the love of her family, especially her grandkids. She was a proud grandmother who enjoyed watching them play sports.
An intimate gathering of close friends and close family will be held on Saturday, August 12th at Givnish of Marlton, 398 E. Main Street from 12:00-1:00pm with a memorial service beginning at 1:00pm and lunch provided after. In lieu of flowers, donations in Clare’s name may be made to Brandywine Living, 311 Rt 73 Voorhees NJ. 08043.
