Concetta J. Corrento, 85, of Philadelphia, Pa and The Villages, Fl, passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 25, 2024. Devoted wife to the late Gerald Corrento before his passing in 2016. Dear mother to Donna Maria Sladek (Ronald) and Gina Stewart (Kel). Sister to Alfred Nucifora (Catherine).
In true Italian spirit, Concetta loved cooking her favorite dishes for her family. Before anyone came over, she always made sure she had something to offer, even if it was just a piece of cake and a cup of coffee. She was an avid reader and managed a bookstore at one time. She loved knitting, shopping and watching her favorite hallmark movies. She enjoyed her flowers and plants, most notably her jasmine and magnolia trees. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Tuesday, January 30th at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North, from 8:00 to 10:00am. Her funeral mass will follow at 10:30am at St. Charles Borromeo of Cinnaminson. Inurnment will take place privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Lung Association, www.Lung.org
