Constance R. Gee's Obituary
Constance “Connie” R. Gee (née Farina), of Moorestown, NJ, left this world on September 18, 2021.
Connie was born in Philadelphia to Stella and Anthony Farina. She was 92 years old. Connie was a resident of Moorestown for over 55 years.
Beloved wife of 35 years to the late William E. Gee, Jr.
Connie was predeceased by her brother, Richard Farina; and son-in-law, David MacRorie.
Connie is survived by her three children--daughters Patricia MacRorie (late husband, David), Donna Dougherty (husband, David), and son Gary Gee (wife, Barbara). Her memory is beloved by her six grandchildren--Megan Miller (husband, Kent); Quinn MacRorie; Owen MacRorie (husband, Flinn); Andrew Dougherty (Erin); Katelyn DePierro (fiancé Mike Combs); and Christopher DePierro. She is also survived by her great grand children; Morgan Miller, Kaitlyn Miller, Chase, Brielle, Adalynn & Colton Combs, loving niece Michaela Stoop and dear friend Desiree Gee.
Connie loved the sandy beaches of Hawaii, the delicious food of Italy, and enjoyed traveling to Ireland. She was a woman of the world and was fortunate to visit many parts of the globe with her husband. Connie was a staunch supporter of community theater, especially if a grandchild was involved. Her hair was always perfectly coiffed and she never left the house without a perfect outfit and accompanying makeup. Connie was a skilled dancer and never missed a chance to show off her steps. The Gap Girls was the dance group that she was part of and put on many many shows over the years - Dancing was her passion. She believed in always looking her best and wouldn't leave the house without immaculately applied makeup and an amazing outfit. Connie was exceptionally proud of her three children and held them up as examples of raising quality children. She was also a devoted member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church.
A gathering of family and friends will be held this Thursday from 9-10 a.m. at Givnish of Maple Shade 600 East Main Street. Her Funeral Mass will follow 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church Moorestown.
Interment will take place at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Good Counsel Church 42 W. Main Street Moorestown NJ 08057.
