Constant "Gil" Helvitson's Obituary
Constant Gilbert Helvitson, affectionately known as "Gil" to those who knew and loved him, passed away peacefully at home in the arms of his beloved wife on Sunday, April 11, 2021. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Constant and Rosa Helvitson, he was 79 years old.
Gil was currently residing in Cinnaminson, NJ but previously lived in Surprise, AZ and has many friends and loved ones there who will miss him dearly.
He was a Vietnam War Army veteran and Police Officer for the City of Philadelphia
Gil is survived by his cherished wife of 25 years, Betty Jane (nee Nicholson). Together they shared 9 children, Donna Gray, Joseph Helvitson, Stephen Helvitson, Diane Hamilton (Dennis), Denise McArthur, Deborah Bonnell (Wayne), Bill McKinnon (Christina), Michael McKinnon, and Donna McKinnon; 20 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Gil is also survived by his sisters, Florence and Rose.
Gil's services will be private for the family.
