Curwood “Kerry” C. Shelmerdine (also known to many as Woody), 67, passed
away suddenly on March 6, 2024. Born on June 2, 1956 in Philadelphia, PA to Curwood and Regina Shelmerdine .

Kerry was known to many as a jack of all trades working many years as a carpenter. He was a free spirit going anywhere the wind would take him.
Kerry had a love for horses and to be honest, any animal he came across.
He looked at life as an adventure, always seeking excitement and treasure.
Kerry loved to venture out to flea markets and thrift stores to find cool things,” the older the better!!” He traveled many places, often on a motorcycle, with his favorite places including AC, Vegas and many rock concerts. And what he loved most was being with his WHOLE FAMILY at every gathering. His curious nature and unique style never failed to put a smile on everyone’s face. Kerry had a big heart and would always do anything in his power to try to make his loved ones happy. He was a man of few words but was always so proud of his siblings, children, grandkids, nieces and nephews and all of the friends he made in all parts of his life!!! He will be remembered by loved ones with joy and fondness.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on March 13 at Givnish of Maple Shade, 600 E. Main Street, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
