Daniel Michael Bender's Obituary
Daniel Michael Bender, of Delran, passed away unexpectedly at his home on February 2, 2021. He was 37 years old.
Dan was a United States Army veteran. He served in Iraq with the 114th Infantry during Operation Iraqi Freedom and was stationed at Camp Cropper from 2008- 2009. He was awarded the Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Medal, and Iraq Campaign Medal.
The most important thing in Dan’s life was raising his three daughters as a single Dad, whom he referred to as his “Little Ladies”. He loved fishing with them and taking them for long walks in the woods to explore nature. He also enjoyed spending time with them in the treehouse he built for them.
Always willing to lend a helping hand, he was a fantastic mechanic that could always be found tinkering with anything that had an engine. He was recently attending the Aviation Institute of Maintenance to become an airplane mechanic, fulfilling a long time dream of his.
Daniel was the cherished son of David and Jean Bender. Beloved father of Emma M., Danika R., and Carmela A. Bender. Loving brother of Angel Beebe (Aaron) and Tiffany Bender. He was predeceased by his brothers, William and David Bender. Dear uncle of Desiree, Kayleigh (Jacob), Anthony, Aaron Jr., and Christian. Daniel is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and friends who will miss him tremendously.
