Daniel J. Cooperson's Obituary
Daniel J. Cooperson passed away peacefully with his wife and family by his side. Born in Philadelphia to Abraham and Sylvia Cooperson, Dan was 81 years old and had been a resident of Cinnaminson for most of his life.
Beloved husband of 60 years to Donna M. (nee Haller) Cooperson. Loving father of Danielle (Matt Johnson) Cooperson and Douglass (Pauline) Cooperson. Cherished Pop-Pop to Amelia Marie, Abigail Jane and Daniel Jeffrey. Dear brother of David (Nancy Brown) Cooperson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, family, and many close friends.
Dan was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School in Camden and later earned his bachelor’s and master’s degree from Rutgers University–Camden. For more than 30 years, he worked for the State of New Jersey and served as the manager of the Medicaid Office in Camden. Dan was an avid Phillies fan who enjoyed watching baseball and football, and he proudly served his country in the United States Army.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Tuesday, June 2nd, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North, Cinnaminson. Dan’s Memorial Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment, with Military Honors will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson, NJ.
