Daniel McQuaid Sr.'s Obituary
Daniel McQuaid, Sr., of Mount Laurel, formerly of Maple Shade, passed away March 26, 2015. He was 87 years old.
Daniel was the beloved husband of the late Martha (nee Husted) for 58 years. Loving father of Daniel Jr. (Kate), William J. (Nancy), and Martha M. DiMartino (David). Dear grandfather of Travis T., Jennifer, Daniel III (Kate), Katie Ann (Matt), Colleen (Pete), William T., Jeffrey R., and Danielle A. Great Grandfather of Lillian, Abigale, Jack, Emma, Kayle, Madison, and Jade. Predeceased by his loving daughter-in-law Sandra. Survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Daniel was a WWII Navy Veteran. He worked for A&P Food Store for 32 years, and the Camden County Board of Social Services for 10 years. He was a member of the Democratic Club in the 1960s, and he was a longtime member of the Local 56 Retirees Club.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Daniel’s life celebration memorial gathering at Inglesby/Givnish of Maple Shade, 600 E. Main St., on Monday from 9:30 - 11:30 am. His Memorial Mass will follow at 12 pm at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 236 E. Main St., Maple Shade. Interment private.
