Daniel Palombo, 54, of Cinnaminson passed away on Saturday, May 8th, 2021. Though born in Camden in 1966, most of his days were lived in town exhibiting his passionate commitment to owning and operating the popular Due Amici Itali Read Obituary
Unfortunately I just heard of Dan’s passing. My first wedding was Dan’s/Due Amici’s first off site wedding catering. My reception was at a venue called Sherman Mills in Philly. Dan took a tour of the venue and found out that the venue only had a water line and bathrooms to help him setup a spectacular wedding ceremony. He laughed and said ok we can do this!! He cooked all the food at Due Amici then transported the food to the venue and kept them warm in portable ovens or cold in a refrigerator truck. He was so thrilled to do my reception that he knew more about my reception than I did. All of the Due Amici employees knew about my reception for years. I referred him business as much as possible. Thank you Dan for your dedication!!

Dan had a huge personality and I had the pleasure of meeting him about 10 years ago at Starting Point in Westmont, NJ. He prepared bacon, pancakes, and eggs for 50 plus people for an anniversary party one year.
So so sorry for your loss ! Danny was a great guy had so many good times with him my children worked with him , his Halloween party’s.. Vacation to Punta Cuna !! He will be truly missed . Had my husband 50th birthday party at his restaurant!! Rest easy Dan!!
I’m so sorry to hear of Dan’s passing. I met Dan while working for his father Al at Palumbo’s in Cinnaminson over 30 years ago. Then he worked with me at my pizzeria. I had my Father’s funeral luncheon at Due Amici in January. It was so great to see him and catch up. Excellent chef, great host, and just an all around great guy. I have such great memories of him. To his family and friends I offer you my sympathy and prayers. May he Rest In Peace.
