My condolences to the Adair family on the passing of Daryl.
It seems like I knew Daryl my entire life. He was that tall kid who rode a Stingray bicycle. In my early teen years he used to hang around with all his friends at Garfield Park.
I was with him the night his 1978 Chrysler Newport got totalled on Forklanding Rd. We snapped a pole clean in two. Nether of us got hurt. Both our glasses ended up between the passenger seat and the door folded as if they had been placed there undamaged.
