David D. Bryan's Obituary
David D. Bryan passed away peacefully on April 21, 2026, at the age of 81. Born in Camden, NJ to Nathaniel and Rita (née Hohenstein) Bryan, Dave was a longtime resident of Cinnaminson, NJ.
He was the beloved husband of 52 years to Wendy P. (née Arnold), and a loving father to Amy (James) Nielsen and Darleen (Daniel) Buttrick. He was a cherished grandfather to Kyle, Julia, James, Andrew, Brooke, Lidie, Lydia, and Emily.
Dave is also survived by his siblings, Robert Bryan, Michael Bryan, and Nancy Pace.
A proud member of Local 13 Boilermakers for 46 years, Dave dedicated much of his life to his trade before retiring. In retirement, he found joy in traveling with his wife, fishing with his grandchildren, and spending cherished summers down the shore with his family. His famous pancakes will never be forgotten.
Dave loved attending his grandchildren’s sporting events, plays, concerts, graduations, and birthday celebrations. He was known for his cheerful nature and unwavering positive outlook on life.
Exceptionally handy, Dave enjoyed home improvement projects and had a natural talent for taking cars apart and rebuilding them. A devoted Philadelphia sports fan, he could often be found cheering on the Eagles, Phillies, and Flyers. When the games didn’t go their way, his familiar phrase, “Those bums,” always brought a smile.
He was a constant source of encouragement, love, and guidance—always there for anyone in need of advice or support. His strong faith in God and love for Jesus remained steadfast throughout his life.
Dave loved unconditionally and was deeply grateful for the support he received in his final days; every visit and phone call meant the world to him and his family.
He leaves behind a lasting legacy of love, strength, and courage, reminding those who knew him to pursue their dreams, never give up, work hard, and trust that perseverance leads to success.
Private services will be held at a later date.
