David Patrick Craig's Obituary
David Patrick Craig, age 83, died of natural causes at his home on November 4, 2014. David’s family is very proud of his service as a Navy veteran of the Korean War.
David was a member of Local IBEW 98 from 1954-1993 where he contributed to the Philadelphia building skyline. He lived a joyful life surrounded by family, good friends, and his strong faith. He loved to travel, go fishing, sailing, and took pride of his property and his John Deere tractor. Some of his favorite pastimes were sitting around with family, telling stories about his Navy experiences, talking about world history, and being with family during the holidays. David lived a very full life surrounded by the loves of his life; his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandson.
David is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Christine Carlson Craig. Together they lived in Cinnaminson for 48 years and were involved with the St. Charles Borromeo community. Also survived by his children and their spouses: Pam and Brian McLaverty of Medford, John and Karen Craig of Medford, and Kim Gill of Moorestown. His grandchildren, Sean, Kyle, Eric, Kaitlyn, Evan, Madeline, Ryan, and Jack, and his great grandson, Gavin, that will greatly miss him and his wonderful humor and kindness.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend David’s life celebration on Monday, November 10, at Snover/Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Rte. 130 N., from 9 am – 9:45 am. His eulogy and Mass will follow at 10:15 am at St. Charles Borromeo Church, Branch Pike and Pomona Rd., Cinnaminson. Interment in Lakeview Memorial Park, 1300 Rte. 130 N., Cinnaminson. In lieu of flowers, donations in David’s name may be made to the American Heart Association, 1 Union St. Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691, www.heart.org.
