David Ellis Goll's Obituary
David Ellis Goll, of Cinnaminson, formerly of Maple Shade, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2025. Born in Camden, NJ to the late Ellis and Margaret (nee Rookstool) Goll, he was 79 years old.
Dave was the beloved husband of Teresa Carmella (nee Barbardoro) for 56 years; loving father of David (Daniele), Susan Nejman (Stephen), Ron (Maura), and Mickey Mulcahy (Jen); cherished Pop Pop of Natalia and Roger; step grandfather to Stephen, Nicole and Emily; dear brother of Linda Spix (Jack), Susan Hoang (Tuan), and the late Gary Goll (Glenna). Dave is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews, many great nieces and nephews and extended family members and friends who will miss him greatly.
Dave enjoyed life’s simple pleasures and loved to go fishing and watch the Phillies. You could always find him sitting in his garage on a nice day and he enjoyed being with his grandkids as much as possible. Dave had great love for his model train collection, he would spend hours in his basement setting up his platform and running his trains, he also loved taking trips to Strasburg visiting the train museum and taking train rides.
Dave worked as a machinist for over forty-five years with Campbells Soup, the Budd Company and Sancoa International. His co-workers appreciated his work ethic and his sense of humor.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Givnish of Maple Shade, 600 East Main Street, on Friday February 28th from 10 am to 12 pm. A service will begin at 12 pm, followed by interment in Lakeview Memorial Park, 1300 Route 130 North, Cinnaminson. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Dave may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org.
