I first met "Dave" in 1972 when my career with Delta Air Lines began working on the ramp. I can never forget him as it was he who rode with me on my first tug drive. I am so very much appreciative of his instructional advice and his sharing of his wisdom. I will never forget him for this impactful time(s).

It was just about 3 years ago I met Dave through a mutual friend from Delta.
We were invited to share a July birthday celebration at Kim's house.
As it turned out, Dave retired from Delta two months before I started there.
He is such a kind and caring person and I am sorry that I hadn't had the opportunity to work with him. He told me about the time he visited his son in Chicago and rode the METRA train with him. We had many laughs and memories of shared experiences at Delta. I know you will miss him; but be comforted in knowing he has given you a wonderful love and appreciation for the good things in life. What a great person to have know in life. Always pleasant and calm. We would talk cars and he always had an interest in my sons car adventures. He will be missed but remembered in many stories and many hearts.
I am so sorry to hear of my uncle’s passing. I am still in shock since I just saw him acting extremely happy/goofy at my moms surprise 80th, which I have never seen and very glad he attended. I will always remember his smiles and holiday/Sunday dinners at my moms house when I was younger.

Dave was our neighbor, we are the next block over, but saw Dave frequently as we walked our dogs past his home. Always a kind word and conversation about dogs or cars. I knew that he loved Corvettes as he had a beautiful silver vette he kept stored in a garage next to his house. He also shared that he had an old hot rod in the garage he was planning to put together, I hope he did. It seemed special to him. Dave used to sit out front in the mornings before work and feed the few turkeys we often see in the fall. Squirrels also!
We will miss seeing him.

Dave and I have been close friends for the past 26 years. I invited him for Christmas dinners, his birthday, and other family events and occations throughout the years.
