David Michael Krauch, aka "Crazy Dave" of Collingswood NJ, passed away unexpectedly on September 27, 2021. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, he was only 55 years old. David was the beloved son of the late Vernice (Simpson) and Charles Krauch Sr, loving brother of Anna Dubell, Scott and Karen Krauch of Marble Mount WA, Wendy Krauch of Frederick, MD and Teresa and John Rowland of Riverside, CA.
He was cherished uncle of Brandon Krauch, Alan Hawksworth, Hope Ridgeway, Eric Hawksworth, Erin Snyder, Michael Krauch, Ian Rowland, Kevin Rowland, Anna Hawksworth, Dillinger Hawksworth, and Scarlett Rowland.
Dave was also a cherished lifelong friend of William Cicalese, Steve Jac, Christopher and Heather Zupsic, and honorary uncle to their children, Christopher Jr and Brynli.
David is survived by many extended family members and friends, who will miss him tremendously.
David grew up in San Diego, CA, where he joined the Navy in 1986 and served honorably until 1990. He then settled in New Jersey. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and even a winning contestant on Deal or No Deal. He loved his sports teams, the Chargers, Dodgers, and Clippers. David was a jokester with the biggest, kindest, and most giving heart. There will forever be a void in our lives, and he will be truly missed, as he was taken away far too soon.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday November 7th, 2021 at the Cherry Hill American Legion, 1532 Martin Avenue between 11-2 pm. All are welcome to attend.
