David "Mitch" Lenhart's Obituary
David Mitchell Lenhart, affectionately known as “Mitch” to those who knew and loved him, passed away unexpectedly on July 17, 2022. Born in Kinston, NC, he was 62 years old.
Mitch was the beloved son of Elizabeth “Ann” Lenhart; father of Gary Lenhart, David Lenhart II, Michael Lenhart, Brandon Mayfield, and Ryan Lenhart; brother of Patricia Lenhart and Samuel Lenhart (Sally); dear nephew of his Aunt Jean Plowden. Mitch was predeceased by his father, David C. Lenhart. He will be missed by his good friend Stephanie Conley. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends who will miss him tremendously.
Mitch never knew a stranger and made friends wherever he went. He will be remembered as easy going, happy, and a joy to be around. Mitch was a United States Navy Veteran. He was an O-Class Heavy Duty Mechanic, worked for many years at South Jersey Port and loved to fish.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North, on Saturday, August 27th, from 1 pm to 2 pm. A memorial service, with military honors, will begin at 2 pm followed by a luncheon.
