David Ogilvie, of Maple Shade, passed away on February 9, 2018. He was 85 years old. Dave was the beloved husband of Helen (nee Richter) for 66 years. Loving father of David Ogilvie Jr., Matthew Ogilvie and his wife Kim, and Kimbe Read Obituary
I served with Dave on the USS Albany stationed in Norfolk, VA, during the Korean War. He and Helen became friends with my wife, Teresa and me during that time. We Have been in touch all these years.

My favorite memory is all the mornings down the shore I would wake up bright and early and sit on your lap and you would tell me I was your favorite (and only) granddaughter, then we would always go to the Acme and you would buy us snacks for the week and I could always convince you to buy me a new stuffed dog. Thank you for always spoiling me. I love you.
Our families united at Frontier Campground, little did we know that we would remain friends for over 40 years. We shared many beach days, campfires and of course Sunday breakfast of creamed dried beef. You will be missed but never forgotten. I hope you share some good laughs with my father in Heaven. Rest in peace Dave.

You and Helen were the most lovely couple. I remember the day I met you when Jack and Lisa purchased across from you. Then I moved next door to you and had the honor to be your neighbor and friend for many years.
