Dawn Patricia Gamble's Obituary
A beloved daughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend, Dawn Patricia Gamble left this world after living with the physical devastation of metastatic breast cancer on 22 November 2021. Dawn, age 54, was born in Neptune, NJ on 13 March 1967. She graduated from Cherry Hill High School, East, class of 1985. Dawn worked at both the Riverside and Burlington City Post Offices.
Dawn was preceded in death by her husband, Jean E. Gamble, and her step-son, Kevin M. Gamble. She is survived by her loving parents, Robert C. Wedin Sr., and Nancy P. Wedin; her son and his partner, Michael J. McCloskey and Shanna Adams; partner Daniel E. Filkohazi; ex-husband and friend, Jeff McCloskey; grandchildren, Alyssa, Camren, and Mason; siblings, Theresa A. Wedin, Joseph R. Wedin, Concetta M. Meehan, and Robert C. Wedin, Jr. She is also survived by a slew of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends by whom she will be greatly missed.
Dawn was a fierce individual with sky blue eyes and a sharp mind. She loved classic rock and smiley faces. She loved her cats, Pink and Floyd. She contended with the painful final years of her illness with bravery and purpose.
When you think of Dawn, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest.
A gathering will be held at Givnish of Maple Shade 600 East Main Street, Saturday, December 4th, from 11 am to 12:30 pm. A memorial service will begin at 12:30 pm.
