Deanna Kauffmann's Obituary
Deanna Kaufmann (nee McGonigle) passed away suddenly on Sunday, June 27, 2021 with her family by her side. Born in Philadelphia to Daniel and Isabella McGonigle, Deanna was 83 years old. She was a resident of Cinnaminson since 1973 and formerly lived in Horsham and Philadelphia.
Deanna was the devoted wife of 66 years to William A. Kauffmann.
Loving mother of Mary (Joseph) Keough, Christian Kauffmann and
Kathleen (David) Harty. Cherished grandmother of Ryan
Keough, Colleen Keough, Deanna Keough, Krista Harty, and Colin
Harty and great grandmother of Blaise Biello and Briana Galkowski.
Sister of Isabella, the late Daniel, the late Jean, the late Ella and the late Norman.
Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Deanna attended St. Bartholomew’s Church School (now closed). She was an honor student most of her eight years at St. Bartholomew’s. She then attended St.Hubert’s High School and for a time, she went to Holy Little Flower High School and then back to St. Hubert’s, where she graduated.
She met and fell in love with Bill Kauffmann, who was recently discharged from the US Navy on an early discharge on his minority enlistment.
Deanna and Bill were married at St. Leo’s RC Church in Philadelphia (also now closed) in 1955.
Bill and Deanna were blessed with their first daughter, Mary Keough. They were later blessed with their first son, Christian Paul. Finally, they were blessed with their second daughter, Kathleen Isabella.
Deanna and her husband Bill were faithful parishioners of St. Charles Borromeo Church.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Deanna’s viewing Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Church Branch Pike and Pomona Road, Cinnaminson. Her Mass will follow at 11:30 a.m.
Burial will take place at Lakeview Memorial Park.
