Debra L. Karwoski's Obituary
Debra L. Karwoski (nee Graham), of Cherry Hill, NJ, passed away after a valiant six-year battle with breast cancer. Born in Abington, PA, to the late Donald and Barbara (nee Baker) Graham, she was 58 years old.
Debbie was the beloved wife of Timothy J. Karwoski; cherished mother of Jake Bruno; and loving sister of Donald Graham (Maureen), Stevie Graham (Sue), and Susan Griffin (James). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, dear friends, and colleagues who will miss her deeply.
For 33 years, Debbie dedicated her life to serving others as a Special Education Teacher with the Burlington County Special Services School District. She had a remarkable gift for connecting with her students and took immense pride in helping children learn, grow, and succeed. The countless lives she touched throughout her career stand as a testament to her compassion, patience, and unwavering commitment to education.
An avid animal lover, Debbie found great joy in caring for pets through her work with Pampered Pets, where she enjoyed dog walking and pet sitting. She treasured life's simple pleasures: reading a good book, challenging herself with Sudoku puzzles, enjoying a peanut butter sundae from the Maple Shade ice cream stand, and spending sunny days on the beach in Wildwood.
Debbie especially loved celebrating Christmas and cherished every anniversary spent with her husband, Tim. Above all else, she was devoted to her family. She was her son's biggest cheerleader, endlessly proud of his accomplishments, and never missed an opportunity to encourage and support him. Her love, kindness, and generous spirit were evident in everything she did.
Though her battle with cancer was long and difficult, Debbie faced it with tremendous courage, grace, and determination. Her strength inspired all who knew her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to love her.
Debbie's family finds comfort in knowing that her legacy of compassion, dedication, and unconditional love will continue through the many lives she touched. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
