Delma F. Adelizzi's Obituary
Delma Adelizzi (nee Collins) passed away peacefully on February 22, 2021. Born in Blaze, Kentucky to the late Clay and Lucy Collins, Delma was 96 years old.
Delma met her husband, John A. Adelizzi, while she was a military secretary during WWII. They married in 1944. Her and John were founding members of the Covenant Presbyterian Church in Cinnaminson, NJ, where she also served as a Deacon. They built their home in Cinnaminson in 1959. They raised their family and lived there until 2000. Delma enjoyed shopping, gardening, bowling and eating at Benihana’s.
Delma was the beloved wife of the late John A. Adelizzi for 55 years until his passing in 1999. She was the loving mother of James B. Adelizzi and John C. Adelizzi (Judy). Cherished Mom Mom of Dawn Adelizzi Criville, Tony Elentrio (Kath), Samantha Reuter (Jon), Jennifer Fisher, and Danielle Foster (Vinnie). Great Mom Mom of Kaleigh, Nicholas, Delayni, Dominic, Madeline, Brady, Jaydon, Marley, Johnny, Griffin, and Charlotte. Dear sister of Edith McKenzie. Delma was predeceased by her siblings Marie Lewis, Susie Lewis, Betty Brown, Jean May, and Roger Collins. Delma is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends who will miss her tremendously.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 N., on Friday, February 26th, from 9:30 – 10:30 am. A service will begin at 11 am at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 2618 New Albany Rd., Cinnaminson, followed by interment in Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson.
