Delno Edward Hoffner's Obituary
Delno Edward Hoffner, of Maple Shade, NJ, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2023. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Delno and Diane (nee Elzinga) Hoffner, he was 85 years old.
Delno was the beloved father of Susan Goetz, Craig Hoffner, and the late Del Hoffner; cherished Pop of Shauna Goetz (Michael Katz), Ashleigh Hunt (Ian), Timothy Goetz, Wesley Hoffner, and Jenna Hoffner; great Pop to Lachlan, Finnlagh, Miles, and Austin; dear brother of the late Ida (Bill) Dodel, Delores Pearce (Al) and Daniel Hoffner. Delno is also survived by many extended family members and friends who loved him dearly and will miss him tremendously.
Del grew up in Pennsauken and was a graduate of Merchantville High School Class of 1956. He moved to Maple Shade and started his career as a draftsman. He later spent many years in construction scheduling and ultimately became an expert witness in this field. Although his job took him all over the world, he ultimately settled back in Maple Shade. In retirement, he remained active in several social clubs and enjoyed spending time with his numerous friends and his loving family.
He was loved beyond measure.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Givnish of Maple Shade, 600 East Main Street on Saturday, November 11th, from 10 to 11 am. A memorial service will begin at 11 am.
