Denise A. Bickmore's Obituary
Denise A. Bickmore, 74, of Mount Laurel, NJ, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2026. Born on October 4, 1951, in Camden, NJ, she was the daughter of the late H. Vernon Bickmore and Dorothy Ann Bickmore (née Atkins).
Denise was a beloved sister to Richard V. Bickmore (Maureen), Bryan A. Bickmore (Gladys), and Jeffrey K. Bickmore (Mernil). She was a devoted aunt to Kimberly Baker (Adrian), Rick Bickmore Jr. (Molly), Morgan Nomore (Logan), Wesley Bickmore (Franny), Phoemela Bickmore, Breann Bickmore, Zach Bickmore, and a loving great-aunt to Alexander Baker, Anna Baker, Lilly Bickmore, Claire Bickmore, Hannah Bickmore, and Grayson Bickmore.
Denise grew up in Moorestown, NJ, graduated from Moorestown High School, went to Immaculata College in Washington D.C and graduated with degree in English Literature. Then continued her education at Glassboro State College with a Bachelor of Arts in English. Denise made a satisfying career as a technical editor for several engineering firms. Making her home in Holiday Village in Mount Laurel, she cherished her role as both an aunt and great-aunt and found immense joy in spending time with her family. Denise had artistic passion for crafting and maintained an extensive craft room where she created many treasured pieces. She was also an avid reader who could often be found enjoying her favorite novel or biography for hours each day.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, May 8th from 10-11:15am at Givnish of Marlton, 398 E Main Street, her funeral service will begin at 11:15am. Interment will be held at Lakeview Memorial Park in Cinnaminson.
