Born on May 8, 1953, in Philadelphia, PA, Dennis was the son of the late Charles and Margaret Watson. He was raised in Audubon, NJ, and attended Paul VI High School.
Dennis worked for many years at Burns Pontiac, where he met the love of his life, his devoted wife, Winnie Jo Watson (née Flora). Together they shared a life filled with laughter, music, and family.
Dennis was the proud and loving father of Justin Watson (Angela) and Kelli Watson, and a devoted grandfather to Logan, Kathryn, Vincent, and Liana. He is also survived by his brothers, John Watson and Michael Watson (Sue).
A true car enthusiast, Dennis had a special love for classic cars, especially his favorite—the 1955 Chevy. He was a passionate Philadelphia Eagles fan and also enjoyed playing basketball. Music was a constant presence in his life, with Elvis Presley holding a special place in his heart. Dennis loved singing and impersonating Elvis around the house and also enjoyed listening to Meat Loaf, Queen, Journey, Bob Pantanos Saturday night dance party, and watching John Wayne movies or and his favorite movie Smokey and the Bandit.
Halloween was Dennis’s favorite holiday. He delighted in dressing up, decorating the house, and playfully scaring trick-or-treaters, bringing joy and laughter to all who knew him.
Above all else, Dennis loved his family. He will be deeply missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members, as well as all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Services for Dennis will be held at a later date.
