Diane Joan Kalbfell's Obituary
Diane Joan Kalbfell (nee Sykora), of Westville, NJ, formerly of Philadelphia, PA, passed away peacefully at home on May 19, 2026. Born in Philadelphia to the late George and Joan Gardner, she was 83 years old.
Diane was the beloved wife of the late Robert C. Kalbfell; loving mother of David G. Kalbfell (Anita) and the late Robert C. Kalbfell Jr.; cherished Grandmom of Alaina Love Kalbfell and David Alexander Kalbfell; and dear sister of Karl Steward.
Diane was a giver with a huge heart whose generosity was how she showed her love to others. She enjoyed horseback riding and fencing in her younger years, and throughout her life she was known as a jokester with a wonderful sense of humor. Intelligent and curious, Diane loved history and treasured traveling with her husband. She was deeply devoted to her husband and took great pride in his military service as a United States Navy veteran. She worked and retired from Frankford Hospital after 20 years of dedication. Her laughter and caring spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, May 23rd at Givnish of Maple Shade, 600 East Main Street, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. A service will begin at 10:30 am. Those who wish to attend the burial are under no obligation due to the distance, but if so desired, may do so by meeting at 12:30 pm at Gloucester County Veterans Cemetery, 240 N. Tuckahoe Road, Williamstown, NJ 08094.
