Diane M. Smith's Obituary
Diane M. Smith (nee Mazzola), 69 of Mount Laurel, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on November 27, 2022 with her family by her side. Devoted wife to Anthony “Butch” Smith for 47 years. Dear mother Eric Smith (Amanda) and Jenna Meads (Josh). Grandmother to Talley and Wade. Sister to James Mazzola (Sally), Joanne Canum (Chet), and Elaine Johnson (late Robert). Daughter to the late James and Margaret Mazzola.
Diane was a 1971 graduate of West Catholic Girls High School. After graduating, she attended Peirce Junior College and later worked as a bookkeeper for local law firms. She spent many years volunteering for St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Marlton, NJ. Diane spent her down time reading and spending time with her family.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Friday, December 2nd at Givnish of Marlton, 398 E. Main Street, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and again the following morning, Saturday, December 3rd from 10:00am to 11:00am at St. Joan of Arc Church in Marlton. Her memorial mass will follow at 11:00am. Inurnment will take place at Jesus Bread of Life in Mount Laurel, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in Diane’s name may be made to Tony Diamond Dog Rescue: www.diamonddogsrescueinc.com/.
