Diann M. Kauffman's Obituary
Beloved Wife, Mother, Nonni, and Friend
Diann M. Kauffman, a cherished longtime resident of Maple Shade, passed away suddenly on January 11th, 2025, at the age of 58.
Diann was the beloved wife of Charles “Chuck” Kauffman, with whom she shared 30 wonderful years of marriage. She was the devoted mother of P.J. Kauffman and his wife Magen, Kurt Tessein and his wife Amanda, Ryan Tessein and his wife Danielle, Daniel Kauffman and his wife Stephanie, and the late Matthew Kauffman. Diann’s love for her family extended deeply to her role as "Nonni," a proud grandmother to Aidan, Jacob, Mackenzie, Isabella, Cole, Liam, Elaina Marie, Austin, and Zachary.
Born in Trenton, New Jersey, Diann was the cherished daughter of the late Anthony and Kay Giordano. She grew up in a close-knit family alongside her siblings: Brenda, William Arrison (Sally), Phillip, John, Susan, and the late Arthur. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, who held a special place in her heart.
Diann attended Nottingham High School, and her warm personality and steadfast dedication led her to a career as a payroll administrator for Maple Shade Township. It was through her earlier role at the New Jersey Department of Health that she met Chuck, the love of her life. Together, they built a life centered around love, family, and shared memories.
Diann found her greatest joy in her children and grandchildren, and her life revolved around their happiness and milestones. She treasured simple pleasures: shopping trips, regular nail appointments, lunch dates with Chuck, and spending precious time with her grandkids. Trips to Smithville with Chuck were a special retreat, filled with laughter and cherished memories.
A proud Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan, Diann’s vibrant spirit could light up any room. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Diann’s life during her viewing on Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Thursday from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at Givnish Funeral Home of Maple Shade, located at 600 E. Main Street. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery in Hamilton, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Diann’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
Diann’s legacy will live on in the hearts of all who loved her, as a devoted wife, a proud mother and grandmother, and a treasured friend.
