Dolores F. Grilli's Obituary
Dolores F. Grilli (née DeDonno), lovingly known as "Mom Mom," of Brigantine, NJ, formerly of Delran, NJ, passed away on March 2, 2025. Her heart was full of love for her grandchildren: Andrea, Michelle, Rudy III, Monique, Amanda, Robert, Maria, and Joey Jr., as well as her sixteen cherished great-grandchildren. She was a dear sister to Loretta and was predeceased by her siblings, Danny and Irma.
Dolores will be deeply missed by her extended family, including many aunts, nieces, nephews, and dear friends—John Flemming, Elle, Jose, and her companion, Mario Carpino.
She had a zest for life and was passionate about many things. An incredible cook, she also had a deep love for poetry, music, and dancing. Dolores had a warm and welcoming spirit, always making those around her feel at home with her humor and quick wit. She never met a stranger, always eager to meet new people and try new experiences.
A dedicated and hardworking woman, Dolores found joy in her role at Harrah’s Casino in Atlantic City—so much so that she never wanted to retire. Her strong work ethic and love for family left a lasting impact, not only on her children and grandchildren but also on her friends and colleagues. Her generosity knew no bounds, as she gave selflessly of her time and resources. She had an unwavering faith in people and always saw the good in everyone.
Above all, Dolores was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She fought a courageous battle and remained strong until the very end. In her final days, she was able to share meaningful moments with each of her loved ones before choosing to reunite with her beloved husband. She lived her life with faith, dignity, and pride.
