Just learned about your mother and we wish to give you our most sincere condolences. Aunt Dee was the best! She was Godmother to our son, Joe. We all loved her and enjoyed her stories, laughter and sense of humor. We especially had good times during family events. She will be missed by all. Bill and I are heartbroken...Living across the street from Dee since 1980 has truly been a blessing. Talking on the porch is our sweetest memory... We will miss our times together. Dee was the most special person and we will miss her immensly

For as long as I remember knowing the Lavender family I remember Dee Hahn and her girls. I didn't come from a traditional family and I was always in awe of the friendship and closeness the two families shared and the very special relationship that Gert and Dee shared and that Cathy and Terry shared. It was a closeness that has lasted probably 50 years for the ladies and they showed us how to enjoy life no matter what came our way.
I remember Dee for her smile and quick wit and laugh and how sweet and kind she was. To see Dee you would never think she had a minute of worry and she always made you feel better and happier for seeing her.
All these things are what make it so hard to hear she's left us and I want to send my deepest sympathies to you. You have so many wonderful memories I hope they will sustain you during this very hard time of loss. She was absolutely a wonderful lady!

As a little girl living across from Mrs. Hahn, I only remember her as kind, caring and embracing all the adventures and beauty of life! If there were cherries on the tree she would make a cherry pie. Her most treasured gifts were her three beautiful daughters. She knew how very special and unique each of her girls were and it made her sparkle. My thoughts and prayers are with you Cathy, Mary Ann & Linda.

As I called her Mrs. Pine Avenue,
She was the first Shader Mom I knew. ( I believe I was age 3 Linda's bff) Yea she put up with us girls at a young age. Funny Jokester sort of Gal, quick and witty, kindhearted Lady. She laughed and enjoyed her Life. Her family especially her 3 daughters were her pride and joy. She protected them. The littlest things made her happy. My condolences, thoughts and prayers to Cathy, Mair and Linda. Remember she did it her way and enjoyed every minute of it. God received a special Angel. You will be truly missed. Dear Girls and families,
I'm so sorry to learn of your beautiful Mom's passing. I'm sure she was comforted with her 3 beautiful daughters at her side. Just thinking about her and that great smile. She was always so sweet. My belief is that our moms are in heaven together looking down at their 3 daughters and seeing we all turned out pretty good. They see our sadness as well as our smiles remembering all the fun times. I know how difficult it is this moment in time, but I promise it will gradually get a little easier. I hope she wasn't in much pain, but if so, she no longer is.

I had the privilege of getting to know your Mom when we worked together for 3 years at Telesciences. Our desks were right next to each other.
