Dolores Stea's Obituary
Dolores Stea (née DiPalma), of Moorestown, NJ, and formerly of Philadelphia, PA, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2025, at the age of 89.
Dolores was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Stea, with whom she shared a beautiful marriage until his passing in 2006. She is survived by her devoted daughter and son, as well as five cherished grandchildren who brought her endless joy. Dolores’s presence will also be deeply missed by her friends and the compassionate caregivers at Care One in Moorestown, NJ.
A dedicated educator, Dolores worked for many years as a teacher's aide in the Philadelphia Public School System, where she nurtured and inspired countless young lives. Outside of her career, Dolores embraced life with enthusiasm and a remarkable sense of humor. She had a deep love for animals, dancing, and creating memories during her cherished visits to Ocean City, NJ, with her husband, Joseph. She also enjoyed the occasional thrill of trips to the casinos, where her lively spirit truly shone.
At Dolores’s request, services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association at http://www.diabetes.org.
Her family takes comfort in knowing that Dolores’s love, laughter, and legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
