Dominick Marandolo Jr.'s Obituary
Dominick Marandolo, 76, resident of Marlton New Jersey passed on November 26, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Philadelphia, loving son of Dominick and Helen Marandolo(deceased), husband of 35 years to Marie Beato Marandolo. He entered the Army shortly after High School before becoming a police officer. He was a decorated member of the Philadelphia Police Force from 1962 to 1986. He ascended the rank quickly, from patrolman to Traffic Detail, to Sergeant of the Highway Patrol and Marine Unit, to retiring as a Lieutenant of the distinguished S.W.A.T. (Stakeout Unit) in 1986. He has four sons, Thomas, Dominick, Nicholas(deceased) and Vincent, and one daughter Anne Marie. He is the grandfather of Lauren, Steven, Ben, Evan, Daniel, Ava, and Corbin. Upon retiring from the Philadelphia Police Force he started his own trucking brokerage with his partner Rich Mondelli named Liberty Transportation. In 2001, he and Marie relocated to Legacy Oaks in Marlton where he served on the board of Legacy Oaks, and the Planning Board of Evesham Township. This was his final resting place surrounded by many friends and neighbors. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend Dominick’s Life Celebration and viewing Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Givnish of Marlton 398 East Main Street, N.J. His Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will follow 11:30 a.m. at St. Isaac Jogues 349 Evesboro-Medford Road Marlton, N.J. 08053.
