Donald "Bobby" Richardson's Obituary
Donald “Bobby” Richardson, of Beverly, NJ, passed away after a brief illness on March 8, 2026, with his family by his side. He was 54 years old.
Born on April 22, 1971, in Philadelphia, PA, Bobby was the beloved son of Donald and Ethel “Joyce” Richardson (née Crump).
He was the devoted father of Robert Richardson and Ashley O’Donnell, and the loving father of the late Catie Seltner. Bobby was the proud grandfather of Cayden, Delaney, Bowie, Stevie, Liam, Seamus, and Amelia.
He is also survived by his siblings, Jim McWilliams, Debbie Richardson, and Tate Richardson, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss him deeply.
Bobby was known among his friends as a kind and generous soul—someone who would truly give you the shirt off his back. Humble and never easily embarrassed, he carried a great sense of humor and was affectionately known as the funny, “crazy” uncle. Above all, he loved and was devoted to his family.
He had an infinite love of music and writing, often expressing his philosophical outlook through both. Bobby was an avid reader with a passion for history, politics, and mob dramas. He also played the bass guitar, enjoyed long walks and hiking, and appreciated the simple moments that brought people together.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026, at Givnish of Maple Shade, 600 E. Main Street, Maple Shade, NJ 08052.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bobby’s memory may be made to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation at: https://www.npcf.us/
