Donald Edwin Morrell, Sr.'s Obituary
On Thursday March 15, 2018 Donald Edwin Morrell, Sr. passed away peacefully in the comfort of his own home surrounded by his family. Donald is best known for always putting his family first and always keeping their best interests in mind at all times. For many years Donald worked as a baker for the Wonder Bread Company located in Philadelphia until his retirement. Donald proudly lived his life as a devoted husband, father, and pop.
Donald E. Morrell, Sr. is survived by his wife Joan Morrell (nee Slevenski) of 53 years. Donald was a devoted father to his children Lisa Cooker(Darren) and Donald Jr.(Nancy). Grandfather to Kenneth Jr. (Jenn), Scott (Tara) and Lisa Lessig; Danielle and Zach Cooker; Mikayla, Martina, Matthew, and Marco Morrell. Great-Grandfather to Charlie and Henry Lessig. Donald also leaves behind his sister Barbara McKee and two brothers David and Jack Morrell.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation of Donald E. Morrell, Sr. at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 N., Cinnaminson, on Tuesday morning, March 20th, from 10 am – 12 pm. A service will be held shortly after the end of the visitation, followed by a private cremation. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the SPCA.
