Donna Marie Merkle's Obituary
Donna Marie Merkle (Spence), of Maple Shade, NJ, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family, on October 26, 2021. Born in Hopkinton, Iowa, she was 94 years old.
Donna was the beloved wife of the late Edward Merkle, who passed in 1996. She was the loving mother of Michael E. Merkle (Janet), Sandra Lee Lowden (Gary), and William Spence Merkle; cherished grandmother of Scott Merkle (Jessica), Dana Lyall, Stacy Thornton (Dave), Christopher Lowden, Brett Lowden (Kimberly), and Gregory Lowden (Jessica); great grandmother of Manning, Julian, Beck, Kayla, Brandon, Molly, Taya, Kasey, Emily, Adalyn, Luke, Brody, Emma, and Ayla. She was predeceased by her siblings, George Spence, Margaret Spence, and Virginia Spence. Donna is also survived by many extended family members and friends who will miss her tremendously.
Services and burial at Beverly National Cemetery will be held private for the family.
