Dorothy "Dottie" L Ward's Obituary
Dorothy “Dottie” L. Ward, 67, of Lumberton, NJ, was called home by the Lord on May 20, 2024. Born on December 20, 1956, to Rodman Seidle and Dolores DeBellis, nee DeRocco in Philadelphia, PA. Devoted wife to Bruce Ward for 28 years. Mother to Cindy and Sherri. Dear grandmother to Keith, Samuel, and Kaiden. Beloved sister to Diane Wien (Philip), Denise King (Wesley), the late Missy DeBellis and the late Donna Lewis. She will be missed by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Dottie took pride and was very dedicated to her work career. She will be
remembered for her kind, loving, and caring personality. She was extremely selfless
and always took care of those around her. Dottie had the gift of seeing the good in
people and was always able to turn any situation into a positive one with her loving
and gentle ways. She always had a smile on her face, a wonderful sense of humor
and loved to laugh. Dottie loved hosting and attending yard sales with her Mom
and Sisters, going to casinos, playing bingo, dancing, and socializing with friends.
She was extremely passionate for the love of all animals. Most of all, she will be
remembered by the unconditional love she had for her family, especially her three
grandsons who she raised, which gave her so much joy and filled her heart with
happiness. She had a very strong faith and enjoyed reading the bible. God Bless her and her family.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Tuesday, May 28
at Givnish of Marlton, 398 E. Main Street from 9:00am to 11:00am with her funeral service beginning at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Locustwood Memorial Park in Cherry Hill,
NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dottie’s name may be made to the Epilepsy
