Friedel, Dorothy M. (nee Bartels) died peacefully with her family at her side on January 8, 2015 of Woodbury Heights, NJ, formerly of Maple Shade, NJ, age 84 years. She was deeply rooted in her faith for the love of God, loved to read, do puzzles, anything to stimulate her mind and being actively involved with her family who she loved dearly. Beloved wife of the late Martin H. Friedel. Loving mother of Martin H Friedel (Teresa) of Orlando, FL., John J. Friedel (Mary) of Auburn Ind., Virginia M Getsinger (Joseph) of Woodbury Heights, NJ and Cheryl A. Fletcher (Timothy) of Brooklawn, NJ. Grandmother of 13 , great grandmother of 8. Dear sister of Myrtle Cannelli, Virginia Girard (Frank) and Patricia Sharpe (Charles). Relatives and Friends are invited to her Life Celebration Service at Calvary Baptist Church 117 Nicholson Road W. Collingswood Heights, NJ 08059 on Tuesday January 13, 2015 from 9:00 till 11:00 a.m. followed by her Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Interment Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent in her honor to The American Heart Association for heart and stroke victims, donate.heart.org.
