Dorothy A. Layou's Obituary
Dorothy A. Layou (nee Lilly) passed away peacefully on January 15, 2016 at The Lutheran Home of Moorestown. Born in Blue Jay, W.VA., Dot was 94 years old. She was a former resident of Maple Shade, NJ. Dot was employed by Prince Spaghetti in Pennsauken, NJ. She was a long time member at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Maple Shade. Dot proudly served her country in the US Navy during WWII. Wife of the late Thomas F. Layou. Loving mother of Thomas (Carol) Layou, Kevin (Brenda) Layou, Debra (David) Lukridge and the late Barry Layou.
Devoted grandmother of Scott (Christa), Daniel P. (Karen), Thomas, Daniel, Andrew, Wesley, Tyler and Alyssa. Great grandmother of David, Noah, Benjamin and Miranda.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Dot's Life Celebration and viewing Thursday 9:30-11 a.m at Inglesby/Givnish of Maple Shade 600 East Main Street. Her Funeral Service will follow at 11 a.m. Interment will be Friday 10 a.m. at NJ Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ with Military Honors.
