Dorothy C. Smith's Obituary
Dorothy “Dottie” C. Smith (nee Clark) passed away peacefully at her residence in Southampton, NJ on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Camden, NJ to the late Henry and Carmella Clark, Dottie was 90 years old.
Dottie was a resident of Southampton for the past 30 years and previously lived in Cinnaminson, NJ. Her childhood and adolescent years were spent in Palmyra, NJ, where she attended Palmyra High School.
She was employed in the cafeteria at Westfield Friends School, where she enjoyed being part of the school community. Also Dottie was a sewing machine operator for Filter Media in Moorestown, NJ.
Beloved wife of the late Kenneth W. Smith, Sr., Dottie was the devoted mother of Kenneth W. (Jane) Smith, Jr. and Kathy Lynn (William) Shepard Endebrock. She was the cherished Mom-mom to John (Stephanie), Michael (Chrissy), Dennis, Kenneth W. III (Jennifer), and Thomas (Dana). She was also the proud great Mom-mom to Wyatt, Mia, Cole, Cheyenne, Jack, JD, Lilly, and Kaleb.
Dottie found great joy in hosting and decorating for holiday dinners, where her warmth and hospitality brought family and friends together. Above all, she treasured spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who were the center of her world.
Dottie’s funeral service and entombment at Lakeview Memorial Park will be held privately.
