Earlene Rita Lewis' Obituary
Earlene “Rita” Lewis (nee Meinel) passed away peacefully on Monday, January 6, 2020 at Merwick Care and Rehabilitation Center in Plainsboro, NJ.
Born in Philadelphia, PA to Earl and Mary Meinel. Rita was 71 years old.
She formerly lived in Princeton, NJ and prior to that in Quakertown, PA.
Rita enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren, socializing with friends, relaxing in front of the television and a good piece of cheesecake.
Loving mother to Christopher (Karen) Lewis.
Cherished Grammy to Sophia Paige and Ella Rose Lewis.
Devoted sister of Mary Lou (Bernie) Carlin.
Also surviving is her nephew Bernard (Anne) Carlin Jr.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, January 10th, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Givnish of Maple Shade 600 East Main Street.
Her Mass will follow at 11 a.m. at St. Peter Church 43 W. Maple Ave. Merchantville, NJ 08109.
Burial will take place at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Amber, PA.
