Edmond "Bomber" L. Kane's Obituary
Edmond L. "Bomber" Kane, Jr. passed away peacefully on April 20, 2015. Born in Philadelphia, Bomber was 66 years old. He was a resident of Maple Shade, NJ for the last 44 years. Bomber was a member of the Philadelphia Teamster's Local # 107. Bomber proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Bomber was a member of the Maple Shade VFW Post # 2445. He was a member of the Philadelphia Vietnam Veterans Memorial Association, where he was involved in the Vietnam Memorial in Washington and the Philadelphia Vietnam Memorial. Beloved husband of 45 years to Nancy (nee Seeberger). Loving father of Missy (Kevin) Jacoby and Eddie (Amanda Mitchell) Kane. Loving pop-pop to Jack, Justin, Vivienne and Layla. Brother of Robert McMonagle, Gertrude Dougherty, Ss. Regina Carmel and the late John Kane. Also surviving are many in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Bomber's Life Celebration and viewing Saturday 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Inglesby/Givnish of Maple Shade 600 East Main Street. His Funeral Mass will follow 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.
