We've been friends with Ed and Mary Ellen for over 20 years since we met them on a bus trip to Canada during which we enjoyed his good humor, warmth and easy-going ways. Our friendship with them continued since then, getting together with our other friends to go out to dinner, shows and other outings regularly.
One of our fondest memories is that of joining them for a weeklong cruise to Bermuda 10 years ago, during which we had a very enjoyable time exploring the island, sharing meals and enjoying shows. We will miss his gentle manner, genuine affection for his friends and concern for others. He was a genuinely pleasant person. May his memory be a blessing for his family and friends.
