Edward J. Burke's Obituary
Edward J. Burke passed away peacefully on March 18, 2017 surrounded by his family. Born in Camden, Ed was 94 years old. He was a resident of Glassboro for the last 3 years and formerly lived in Cinnaminson for 55 years.
Beloved husband for 58 years to the late Michaeline K. (nee Grobelny). Dear father of Edward (Cheryl) Burke, Paula (Pete) Papi and Diane Russell.
Grandfather of Michelle (David) Reissman, Sabrina (Jimmy) Ulrich, James (Stephanie) Papi, Heather Russell, Sarah Russell and Joseph (Maria) Migrala. Great grandfather of Olivia, DJ, Jay, Gianna, Jameson and Jayden.
Brother of the late William Burke and the late Regina (Jean) Watson.
Ed was a retired supervisor of the Weyerhaeuser Paper Company, Pennsauken, retired after 41 years of employment.
Ed was an avid Phillies fan, enjoyed painting and especially loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Ed's Life Celebration and viewing Wednesday 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Resurrection Parish, St. Casimir Site, 502 New Jersey Ave. Riverside, NJ 08075. His Funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Lakeview Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made Resurrection Parish, St. Casimir Site.
